Hotsprings around Hveragerdi

 Hveragerði and the nearest surrounding is a beautiful place with magnificent landscape. The town is positioned on an active volcanic zone. Earthquakes are frequent thanks to the tectonic movements that rumble below. On May 29th 2008, earthquake with a magnitude of 6,2 on the richter scale hit the town and a new geothermal area was created.

In this tour we will show you Hveragerði in a exclusive tour where we will bike in and outside of the town in a magnificent environment through the grown hills into the new geothermal park where you will witness the range from small gurgling hot springs to vibrant super heated pools of water and steam. You will get the opportunity to boil an egg in one of many hot springs. There after we will travel fun paths beside the river in Hveragerði and our guide will point out fun facts and interesting places. The tour will end by taking a relaxing bath in the swimming pool inside of Hveragerði.
